This short Thai gay film is less than 20 minutes but offers some emotional punches that reach its intended target. Same Same But Not The Same tells the tale of two young Thai students who are gay. One wants to open up to his Mom and declare his gayhood, the other supports him totally and is loyal to the end.

It says something about Thai tradition and certain hypocrisy of some of its people when it comes to gender, and of tolerance. Produced by ForemorFilm Productions, it stars Atom Nattapat as Inn and Faseethong Phanwong as his partner, Max.
